Bookings and Details.

 

Each one of David Reid Photography Tours has a minimum and maximum number of participants required for the tour to run.

To reserve your place on this tour you will need to fill out the Booking Form on this website and use the Paypal button to make the required deposit.  Once payment of deposit is complete your spot is secure.  Please note that tour places are only assured once the booking form and deposit have been received and confirmed by us.

Upon receipt of completed Booking Form you will be sent a secure payment request from David Reid Photography Tours for the remainder of the cost of the tour that is due 60 days prior to the tour start.  

Should your booking form be received after the tour is fully booked, we will contact you and place you on the waiting list.  The waiting list is maintained in the order the additional booking forms are received.  Should any places become available due to cancellations we will contact each person on the list in order and offer the available place.

Accommodation will be twin share unless you opt for the single supplement on the booking form.  If you take the twin share option and you don’t specify another participant to share with, we will endeavour to pair you up with a suitable room partner.  In the event this is not possible and single accommodation is required the single supplement amount will become payable.

 We reserve the right to cancel your booking if these monies are not received in a timely fashion.  But we are also friendly reasonable people, so if there are any issues contact us to discuss it.  

 

Health and Fitness.

 

You will need to be able to carry your own camera gear, so you must be aware of that when packing for any of our tours.  Any of the destinations of David Reid Photography Tours can have inclimate weather at any time and approprate clothing and footwear are reccomended for spending much time outdoors and/or on your feet.  There are no obligations for anyone to be far from their accomodation or tour bus if they choose, and indoor photo shooting sessions will be arranged in attractive public buildings when possible.

If you have any medical or health concerns please contact us to discuss it prior to sending in your booking form.  It is a mandatory tour requirement that you disclose any health issues or physical condition that could pose a risk to yourself or others on the tour.  We cannot accept the responsibility of medical care for any participants and reserve the right to cancel your participation on this basis.

If you have special dietary needs you must also disclose this prior to booking.  We will endeavour to cater for special dietary requests, but this is your responsibility and we cannot be held liable for these requests not being met.

 

Travel Insurance & Camera Insurance.

 

Travel Insurance is a mandatory booking requirement for all international tour partisapants.  You will need to discuss this with your travel agent, or a qualified insurance agent when booking your air tickets.  We strongly recommend you also have separate insurance for all your camera equipment and personal belongings.  We are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury while on this tour.

 

Responsibility and Liability.

 

David Reid Photography Tours cannot be held responsible for losses or extra expenses caused by but not limited to, weather conditions, change in travel schedules, transportation services, illness or injury or other factors that may effect participants travel plans or arrangements, or loss or damage to personal items including but not limited to camera and computer equipment.  All such losses will be the sole responsibility of the participant.

 

Refund Policy.

 

We have tried to make our refund policy as fair and equitable as possible.  Circumstances change and unexpected things happen, so the best thing is to contact us and we will do our best to help out.  But we need to have a policy, so here it is:

All cancellations must be received in writing.

If you cancel and the tour is otherwise filled, we will refund you the full amount you have paid, minus a AU$150 service charge.

If you cancel and the tour does not fill, then you will be refunded according to the following schedule, based on the full fee of the tour:

Greater than 60 days from the start date of the Workshop: full refund minus AU$150 service charge.

45 days prior to tour commencement: 75% refund

30 days prior to tour commencement: 50% refund

Less than 30 days to tour commencement: no refund will be made.
